Wheeling Middle School Outdoor Garden

Thanks to funding from the Northern Panhandle Resource Conservation and Development Council (RC&D), the following materials were purchased, delivered, and installed to enhance the outdoor learning center: planting soil, wood chip mulch, flexible plastic garden fencing, T posts, lumber for bed repairs, a wheelbarrow, tomato cages/stakes, and a variety of flowers, herbs, and vegetables. This newly improved outdoor space is available to all students at Wheeling Middle School and will also be used for joint educational activities with nearby Ritchie Elementary School, fostering hands-on learning and collaboration between the two schools.
